WatchOnLine® by Regola is the ideal solution for the optimisation of all emergency-related activities in urban settings. Conceived in order to answer to the Municipal Police Corp’s professional requirements, WatchOnLine® enables to automatically handle all operations with regard to citizen safety, traffic management and monitoring within large metropolitan areas.

From emergency call reception to operations coordination, WatchOnLine® powerfully supports every single stage of the emergency management routine through integrated modules ensuring real-time interaction between professionals at the Operations Centre and peripheral resources (teams, vehicles and technological equipments such as wearable pcs and palmtop devices).

A fast and effective emergency response is granted through specific features ensured by the System to all operators at the Centre in order to provide

Smart monitoring

Efficient Emergency management requires constant monitoring over all activities performed.

This is why WatchOnLine® provides specific tools ensuring a detailed, dynamic representation of all managed operations, displayed in real-time on maxi-screens at the Operations Centre.

Moreover, thanks to advanced cartography features, the system ensures resource localization during all dispatch stages. Specifically, through vectorial maps, orthophotos and planimetries, operators at the Operations Centre can easily monitor the location of emergency events to be managed and trace all teams involved in a dispatch.

Moreover, through specific features, WatchOnLine® allows to automatically archive all information handled (either generated by the system or acquired from external sources) and to perform statistics on all managed data, in order to enhance the information patrimony on the urban environment.

Versatility is a must

WatchOnLine® facilitates all activities performed at Operations Centres whatever the typology and/or the technological level of available systems may be. To illustrate this, the application is able to manage:

  • Telephone swithcboards
  • Radio apparatuses
  • Systems and D.G.N.A. (dynamic group name assignment) systems
  • Telecamera networks
  • Apparatuses onboard emergency vehicles
  • Wearable equipments

In addition, the software can effectively interact with a large array of external services (118, Civil Protection, …) in order to create a single technological macro-system for multidisciplinary Emergency Management.

Management of Routine Operations

Besides tools conceived for emergency Management purposes, the system provides web applications ensuring operators the possibility to easily and appropriately carry out all routine activities performed at Operations Centre.

  • Real-time creation and transmission of information reports for the Press and other services
  • Creation of reports for the citizens (information on traffic, security, significant events)

Today WatchOnLine® is succesfully employed at the New Operations Centre of the Municipal Police for the City of Turin which manages a yearly average of more than 130.000 emergency calls and 70.000 dispatches.
